f700es Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Pretty slick screen recording utility for AutoDesk products. Right now it seems to be for AutoCAD 2013, Revit 2013 and their vertical products. Here is what makes it cool... http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/chronicle/ "The Chronicle Recording Utility allows users to capture workflows from within Autodesk products. The utility records a continuous video screen capture and optionally voice narration. What makes Chronicle unique is that is also records the timing and details of workflow information, such as the tools, settings, and dialog boxes that are used during the workflow." Yes records the commands used in the presentation. The time line is shown below the video and the user can scroll through and see when certain commands were used. Impressive to say the least. Quote
tzframpton Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Hey I like that!! Very nice. Could be best used for people who train others or provide tutorials. Quote
BlackBox Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Good find... That does look pretty helpful! [vent] Oh, wait... Just another tool that I cannot use, because I work for a group that has absolutely no interest in any form of CAD standards whatsoever ... I should consider changing my avatar to Eeyore.
