Even something as minor as a missing < ' > symbol will cause an error message to pop up. Follow BIGAL's advice and you should be fine. Edited March 4 by ReMark Quote
Kayy Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Hey @ReMark can you help me on the lot 7 and 8 I’m not sure if I’m putting the Measurements in right? Quote
ReMark Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Lots 7 & 8 are the same size... 60 x120. The 120 ft dimension is perpendicular to the north street line of SW Village Lane while the 60 ft dimension is parallel to the north street line of SW Village Lane. To create the easterly property line of lot 7 offset the westerly street line of SW Oleson Road a distance of 50 ft. Offset that line 60 ft to the west. Then offset that line another 60 ft. to the west. Offset the northerly street line of SW Village Lane 120 ft. and trim everything up as required. 1 Quote
Kayy Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Good afternoon @ReMark I’m not quite understanding this part of the project? Quote
ReMark Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) The student is instructed to insert a tree block (previously created) at various locations through the subdivision based upon a list of coordinates given in the instructions. The text above suggests that instead of typing in the coordinates for each location, and possibly mistyping one or more, the student copy and paste the coordinates. Have you created your tree block? Kayy Posted Friday at 07:43 PM Posted Friday at 07:43 PM I tried to copy and paste the locations on the trees but it keeps pasting on the drawing. Quote
ReMark Posted Saturday at 12:04 PM Posted Saturday at 12:04 PM (edited) Did you create a tree block (only one is required)? Did you copy the coordinates from the instruction booklet and paste them into AutoCAD (using the Block, then Insert command) when prompted to "specify insertion point"? Note: one pair of coordinates per insertion. Edited Saturday at 02:13 PM by ReMark Quote
Kayy Posted Saturday at 06:54 PM Posted Saturday at 06:54 PM Yes and ok I will try that then and I’m sorry for late response I work at night so I sleep through the morning I get off at 7am. Quote
Kayy Posted Monday at 07:44 PM Posted Monday at 07:44 PM I don’t know why but the tree block and inserting the tree is not working for me. @ReMark I don’t know what I’m doing wrong Quote

Do a "Save As" of your P-F Oleson Village Project drawing and save it as an AutoCAD 2010 or 2013 dwg file then send it to me. I will take a look at it and determine what the problem is.
