Newbie eager to learn

Recommended Posts

I just started using Inventor 2012 at home, though we've been using it in my engineering class for a while. I have very little knowledge about the program, but I am so eager to learn all about it. I'm just not sure where to start. I would rather not pay for training, I just want to get started. If anyone knows of a tutorial series for beginners or anything that you'd recommend, I would be very thankful.

Have you searched for any tutorials? One of our members, JD Mather, has some Inventor tutorials at his website. Find them here...http://home.pct.edu/~jmather/content/DSG322/inventor_surface_tutorials.htm

AutoDesk has some tutorials on their website. Take a look here at Skill Builders. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=10893341&linkID=9242016
