sean214 Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 im really pissed at my instructor. he teaches the class as if he thinks everyone is a advanced autocad user...his office hours are like 7am which i think is ridiculous and doesnt work for me. besides hes never there so if i need help i have to go to the internet Why are you giving up? What seems to be the problem? Quote
ReMark Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 (edited) Well that's why we are here to pick up where your instructor left off. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do about your instructor. There are the good, the bad and the indifferent. We don't always get a choice. Why don't we take it one step at a time. What is the exact nature of the assignment? What units are you supposed to be working in? Metric or Imperial? Did you know there were several different ways to extract 2D views from 3D models? They are: 1. Flatshot 2. Sectionplane 3. SolProf 4. Solview/SolDraw combo 5. Viewbase (AutoCAD 2012 and up) I would urge you to not only continue with your class but to come here with any unanswered questions. In this post alone you had four CADTutor forum members attempting to assist you. That's probably more help than you have been offered in class. You'll find many knowledgeable and helpful people here at CT ready and willing to answer those questions. All we ask for in return is that you provide us with as much information as possible so we, in turn, don't have to bombard you with a series of follow-up questions. Sound like a plan?
