ReMark Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Shall we try this again? ASH_CAD-2-Layout2.pdfFetching info... Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The settings I used. Again...you decide on the window that you are going to use to capture what you need. I went just outside the confines of the paper space. Quote
ASH_CAD Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 Weird, when I use the following settings, my border is still off centre. Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 What can I say? I got it figured out on my end and I don't know what I can add to the posts and images that I have already submitted that will solve it on your end. Buy a new printer? Not practical. Quote
eldon Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 One small observation is that if you look at the scales that come up with the "Fit to Paper", ReMark has 1.009 and ASH_CAN has 0.9967. Obviously the Window is being chosen in different ways. Are you using the Osnaps on the corners of the frame? Quote
ASH_CAD Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 Agree on the scales eldon but I think that is simply where we have selected different size windows. I believe the issue is related to the custom paper size. what settings do you have in your Device and Document settings in the DWG to PDF.pc3 file? Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I used your custom paper size. Like I said, I picked just outside what passes for the limits of the sheet. Maybe you favored one side over the other thus pushing your image too far to the side. Why does it have to be "exactly" dead center? Quote
ASH_CAD Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 It doesn't have to be exact but my PDF offsets it so much that the top border line is off the page. When I select the window, I start from the top left and pull down to the bottom right. I've been starting from between the 1mm bleed and the top left border corner. This is driving me around the twist. Quote
ASH_CAD Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 As you can see the border is offset upwards. Drawing1-Layout2.pdfFetching info... Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I believe you. However, I have no answer to your dilemma. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me will offer up a solution. Quote
ASH_CAD Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 Are you able to send your .pc3 DWG to PDF and I'll import it to ensure it's not that which is causing this headache. Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I created the PDF I attached to one of my posts from within AutoCAD using the DWG to PDF option. I stated this already. It did not cause me any headaches and as far as I can tell it met your requirement of being centered. I'm not sure there is anything else I can do. Quote
