jrn Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 When drawing in .stb-file (with layer dependent plot style, plotting in monochrome) and when Dimension Text Style is set to Romans (must not be changed), then how to change line weight of Lines and Text separately? Please help. Thanks. Quote
tzframpton Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Hmm, this was a tricky one, but I think I got it. The way I was able to make the text a different weight than the dimension lines was if I left the dimension layer plot style to Normal (which is ByObject all across the board of STB options) in the Layer Manager, and changed the lineweights of the Dimension Lines & Extension Lines in the dimension style (under the Lines tab) what whatever I wanted them to be at. The trick is this: since the Plot Style is set to Normal in the Layer Manager, you control the weight of the text by simply changing the Lineweight settings of the layer itself. So, the text inherits the layer lineweight, and the dimension/extension lines inherits the dimstyle lineweight. Hope this helped. Quote
