Bogbadbob658 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Could someone tell me how you convert AutoCADArchitecture 2013 files back to 2012 if you don't have 2013? I have tried usingTrueview 2013 but I still have object which are causing a problem. When I tryto use some of the basic AutoCAD commands such as 'fillet' I get the followingmessage ' Command not allowed because drawing contains objects from a newerversion of this application.' Quote
SLW210 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 It needs to be EXPORTED from the 2013 version. What version did you convert to from DWG TrueView? Quote
Bogbadbob658 Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 I converted a 2013 file using Trueview 2013 to 2010. I did get the other party to export to 2010 and it worked fine. I can't see the point of having a convert option in Trueview if it doesn't allow full compatability. Quote
