Hi,I am learning Rhino now and want to know what is the best way to import 3d from autocad to Rhino, like DWG or sat or other format?

dwg imported file made my rhino file 230mb from a 61mb acad,I was glad when I saw the same layers and acces to them. is the file size a problem? it peform with no problems now... but what is the limit for 6gbram/i7930 if anyone knows...

thanks!

my revit limit is 95-140mb file with inplace masses...

autocad file 80mb with a lot of lofts ... I think acad dont like them...

my pc is performing bad at that limits...

You graphics card came out in 2008, is it 512MB? Might be a weak spot, certainely more RAM wouldn't hurt.

Are all service packs, drivers etc. up to date?

I would run it till problems started showing up myself.
