tomhamlet Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 One of my co-workers is using dtext to call out a certain part of a drawing. I know there are many ways to do a call out, but this is what he chooses: dtext, justify, mc. The problem he is running into is that when he places a fraction, such as 1/4, it does not place it in a fraction form where 1 is actually over 4. Is there a way to make his make-shift fraction into a stacked fraction while still using dtext? Quote
ReMark Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I used to use a special font called FRACTION we bought from a third-party supplier. Quote
eldon Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 If the only fractions to be used are ¼, ½ and ¾, then choose the correct font file. (ALT+0188=¼, ALT+0189=½, ALT+0190=¾) Quote

eldon Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I used the Character Map programme in Windows Accessories, System Tools to check out the fonts. Quote
tomhamlet Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 It's much easier using MTEXT. This I know. But explaining that to a 60 year old stuck-in-his-ways man. Thanks though RobDraw, any contribution is always appreciated! Quote
