cyclingg Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 I have many polygons that need numbering. It is for a maps sheet layout of our project. Is there a way to auto number/label the polygons and with the names you want? Example: School_1 is one sheet, School_2 is the next sheet etc. The labeling needs to start at the lower left of the layout to the right. Then on the next line of sheets the labeling starts from the left again and then to the right. The first row of sheets would be School_1, School_2, School_3. The second row of sheets would be School_4, School_5, School_6 etc. I tried placing a centroid in the polygons but could not find a way to place text on the centroids. Is there a way to place text on centroids without manually snapping to the centroid with the text? The only thing that we found at work was "Tcount". Is this the only way? Thanks. Quote
Tankman Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Not sure exactly what you wrote(?). Perhaps a lisp file might help. Take this one for a spin. callout-3.lsp Quote

Tankman Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Thanks Tankman I will try this lisp later. If the lisp doesn't work, try to edit it to suit your needs or ask in the forums what you might need to edit the lisp file. Good luck and have fun! Quote
