Mena__99 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 hi i need to make a list of all the coordinates (X,Y) or (X,y,Z) of all the points in my project the shape of my project look like an Eclipse i made it out of 236 points ... i want to to put all those points in a table of ( X,y,Z ) ... i think there is some kinda output that can do that for me iam uploading a vedio on youtube to show u what iam talking about just a list of X,y,z of every point how i can do that ? Dadgad Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) There are lots of different ways that this can be done. There are certainly those who will use a lisp, and likely share it with you. If you look at the image you can see a list that I created using the DATA EXTRACTION functionality. Start by entering DATAEXTRACTION at the commandline, then follow the prompts. There are 8 pages of them, and they enable you to customize extensively, just take your time and look through the available options. The table which is generated can be displayed in your drawing (in model or paper space), or it can be saved externally. Edited October 9, 2012 by Dadgad Quote
