actually this is very easy to do.

you are missing a dimension here. between 18 and 36

Welcome to the forum. :)

Yeah, between the 18 & 36 dimensions on the top like nod said, and you will need a few dimensions

at the bottom, one showing the overall width, one from the left corner to the center of the circle

and another one from either side of the part to the notch at the bottom.

i know it seems easy , but i had been through some sickness in the 1st weeks of my university which made me absent & dont know that much on how to do this :(

well that's how the teacher gave us the design , i even noticed it now !

i traced the image and here is what i got :)

actually the image does not conform with the dimension especially the 18 diameter which is 40 from the bottom

Nod, I know your intention is good but the OP could just save that and present it as his own. That is not how learning to do it works. I would suggest you delete the attachment and supply just a start, not a finished item.

:D I don't actually know. I think you can edit your post and delete it there but I've never tried.

Tried that one.

EDIT POST > Go Advance > Manage Attachments

but from there i dont know where/how to delete the attachment :)

In the Manage Attachment-window, you hopefully see the attachments at the bottom of the window. When you mouse over the attachment, a little X shows up on the attachment that removes the attachment.

But yes, I did it for you :)

Your instructor needs some help too.

What instructor would give an assignment where so much information is missing? Was that intentional? As you see from my drawing it is possible to get fairly close but some assumptions had to be made. And, in my opinion, the 40.00 distance that was given to the center of the circle is wrong judging by the image provided in your first post.

I hope you did not pay too much for this class.

I think members of this forum could come up with better drawing examples for your class to practice their skills on.

I agree with ReMark, Its easy to make a recreation of a drawing (Its also my profession), But you need get dimensions right or the entire drawing could be off.

Well? Did you ever finish your assignment? Did you ask your instructor about why so much information was missing?
