Hi,

I have a drawing that only show 'Standard' as font in Style box. How do I see the rest of the fonts I have??

Also, how do I get linetypes like 'Fence' into the drawing?

If you look on the TEXT toolbar in the image I have circled the icon you want to use.

Once you have set up your NEW text style, leave the HEIGHT set to 0, or

you will have problems with it later, then SET CURRENT, and you should be good to go.

The fonts dropdown arrow lists all of the fonts which are already available in Autocad. :)

Okay, thanks! That worked for almost all the fonts I need. How do I get those three I coulden't find in the 'Font name' list?

I have them saved on my computer...

You will need to open your OPTIONS,

where you will be able to ADD them to your SUPPORT FILES SEARCH PATH,

as shown in the image. :)

They just need to be added to the list, they don't need to be added

where I drew the arrow.

Ok, I tried that, but do I need to close and reopen the drawing for it to go through? Can't see them in Text style - font box...

Windows TTF fonts must be installed in Windows: you can't just park them in a folder and expect them to appear.Windows Help explains the process.

Yeah, I was going to tell the OP that once he replied to my question. Good point though.
