dJustice Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I was wondering what is the right way to make a section of terrain and buildings in AutCAD Architecture 2012 so I can take informed decision regarding the placement of buildings according to the topography of the terrain. I already have installed the Civil3D object Enabler http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=16976599&linkID=9240658 so I can see Civil3D objects and data in my machine running AutoCAD Architecture; when I go make a section the building gets sliced right but the terrain is not visible, so I'm wondering if there is some parameter that I'm missing out in order to see the terrain in the section. I was considering exploding the terrain but I think there might just be a more elegant way of doing it while preserving data and editability. I received the terrain data and overlay from AutoCAD Civil3D and I attached to the post so you guys can see what I'm talking about even when I know this site is home of some of the greatest CAD gurus all around. This is my first post in the site but I'm a long time recurrent visitor of the forum, so this was my time to create an account here. AcerUpx.R9.dwg Quote
