278 Consulting Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I'm trying to design a junction without using the Wizard. I can generate all of the necessary baselines/regions and target the Curb Return assemblies to a Feature Line generated along the carriageway edge of the Primary Road. What I can't work out is how to vertically attach the Curb Return kerbline profiles to the Primary Road corridor such that if and when I redesign the Primary road, the Curb Return kerblines dynamically update their level too. Bill_Myron Posted September 17, 2012 Posted September 17, 2012 Civil 3D does not have dynamically linked profiles (Only to surfaces, not each other). There are some very complicated work arounds that you may be able to use, but they take a long time to set up. Another option would be 3rd party software for that. Quote
278 Consulting Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 Bill, Thanks for the response. I think I guessed as much but was hoping that someone may have found a clever way around it. Oh well, back to doing it manually and redesigning the Curb Returns everytime I change the mainline profile Quote
