So glad this resource is available. Those random times I can't figure something out on my own, you guys come to my rescue very quickly.

I vote you change the name from cadtutor.net to cadgods.net!

A nice tip of the hat, and sentiment for sure,

but wouldn't that be selling all the forum Goddesses short? :)

I've been considered a "CAD God" a few times but I feel the same as your starting post.... this forum still proves useful even to those who are veterans around here.

I've always found CADTutor to be a great community, and have received much help thanks to the kindness of others... Perhaps one day, I'll be able to give something back. :)

Same song, second verse.

People here think I have this vast amount of knowledge about AutoCAD but actually, I come here (if I don't know the answer), and you kind folks help me help them. I even tell them where I find the information. 8)

I just tell everybody, "I'm a bit busy right now, let me get back to you on that." Then go search and/or ask questions.

Haha, JD I do that a lot at work. Everyone calls me a guru at work but I am quick to inform them that Google is my best friend. :)

Sometimes I have to pull this out on some people :)

I certainly do not consider myself to be a guru (I'm just inquisitive :geek:)... But much to my disappointment, nobody at my work knows that I know, what I know.

There are many factors that went into this, but ultimately, the situation I find myself in currently is what prompted me to take on a second (night) job, as a part-time software development consultant, working from home nights and weekends.

Perhaps a full-time development position, or a company of my own is in the cards for me one day...? *wishful thinking*

Love this site (CADTutor).

Them, "How do you know so much about AutoCAD?"

Me, "I read."
