ReMark Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 This single line text was created with the _TEXT command right? Quote
byk3bep Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 Yes, with the text command. I am using acad2011 btw. Annotate - single line text, that was the sequence. Quote
Dadgad Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 I believe rkent's suggestion has set your system variable as you want it. Just so you are aware of the other optional settings for this, here is a shot of the SYSVDLG (system variable dialog) explaining the available settings. This is always a great place to start when a command's behavior seems to have gone astray. Whoops, not sure if you have SYSVDLG in 2011, it is in 2012 and up. Quote
byk3bep Posted September 12, 2012 Author Posted September 12, 2012 Nope, that wasn't it i will just use the multiline txt for now Maybe u dident understand the prob so let me try to explain again. When i use the mulitiline text cmd in the tab space (next to home, annotate, parametric, surface, solid, view and others...) appears a new tab called Text Editor. The same tab does not appear when i use singleline text cmd, and i cant find it or activate it. This is my problem. Help plz Quote
Dadgad Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Nor will you be able to with regular TEXT, it is only available for MTEXT. I greatly prefer using MTEXT, really dislike using TEXT, probably in large part because of that difference, and the fact that I often need to use a second line. Do you know about the TEXT2MTEXT command? Quote
ReMark Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 This is the result one gets if you follow rkent's advice re: setting TEXTED to a value of "1". The test text pictured was created as single line using the TEXT command. Quote
