CyberAngel Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Another year, another job. On my first day, I was supposed to cut some profiles for a sewer system. The surface built OK, the alignment came out OK, but when I tried to create a profile, AutoCAD crashed. I can make profiles in other drawings, so it's probably something in this one drawing. This version is Land Desktop Companion 2008. The drawing has about 1700 contours taken from two surveys, one with polylines, one with Civil Contour Objects. Along with the contour objects there were about 4 3D polylines, which I converted to 2D polylines, then to regular polylines, then to contour objects. Is there a known issue with large surfaces in LDC? Is there a type of contour that it doesn't like? Any advice would be appreciated. Quote
rustysilo Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Do you have any point data you can work with instead of creating from contours? Quote
