jkristia Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I think I have tried every single option in properties, but I still can't figure out how to remove the dimension line between the arrows on the dimension indicating the diameter. Any suggestions ? Thanks Jesper Quote
skipsophrenic Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Create a new dimstyle, and in the dimstyle manager, under the Lines tag tick Supress Dimline 1 & 2 Quote
jkristia Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 unfortunately that also removed the arrows, I'm only interested in removing the line between the arrows. Quote
skipsophrenic Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 ah, sorry i'm not sure then. Hope someone else knows. Quote
jkristia Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 Sorry to bump it, but ... any suggestions ? Quote
eldon Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 As a very last resort, you could explode the dimension and erase that line Quote
GE13579 Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Alternatively, create an arrow as a block and use the dimension line suppression as mentioned above- there should still be nodes on the extension lines you can snap to. Quote

Thanks You don't need to go to that trouble. Under 'Fine Tuning' in the fit tab, choose 'Place text manually' and deselct 'Draw dim line between ext lines'. Make sure 'arrows' is selected on the left hand side under 'fit options'. You probably need to do this as an override as you probably don't want it for all your dimensions. Hope it helps.... Quote
jkristia Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 Thank you very much, the arrow setting did the trick Quote
