084x4larry Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 anyone have a lisp routine for creating item balls with an arrowhead and a one to two digit number in the balloon? Quote
ReMark Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Tool Palettes > Annotation tab > Tag - Imperial. Why reinvent the wheel? Quote
ReMark Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Or how about Tool Palettes > Leaders > Leader - Circle. Each block I have mentioned is "dynamic" too. Quote
084x4larry Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Or how about Tool Palettes > Leaders > Leader - Circle. Each block I have mentioned is "dynamic" too. yeah those have a number of issues that dont work for my particular application (one being i cannot have the landing before the cirlce and another being the text font) the place i used to work had a really nice lisp routine that worked very well but my new work place does not have it. i know there are a lot of people out there who are extremely skilled with writing lisp who may be able to hook me up. just hoping one will read my thread. ReMark Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Since the generic blocks that AutoCAD provides do not meet your criteria you're going to have to set out the specific criteria that has to be met. Font? Arrowhead size? Bubble size? Dynamic or non-dynamic? Other? You can't call someone you worked with at your old company and inquire about this "magic" lisp routine you wish to emulate and see if you can acquire it in some manner? Quote
Dadgad Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Welcome to the forum. You could easily create a CUSTOM MULTILEADER style, lots of customization options. Or you could use one of Lee Mac's fine tools! http://www.lee-mac.com/numinc.html Thanks Lee! Quote
neophoible Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 How savvy are you when it comes to creating Blocks with Attributes? This is the way I would proceed, even with a LISP routine, that is, create an attributed Block that can be INSERTed by the routine based on its dimensions. Can you at least edit LISP routines? You might need to do that to make sure your Block works with a routine written by someone else. Be sure and answer ReMark's Qs also. Quote

No lisp needed, post #6 is the way to go. Quote
