how do u make a Philips head screw shape

hello im am a newbie and i was just wandering how do i cut a screw face of Philips head as a angle so it will be right with the bottom part

 

i have attached 3 images below if you dont understand what i am trying to say please ask thanks

Welcome to the forum. :)

 

I just realized that you are doing this with INVENTOR, but you have posted your thread in the Autocad 3D Modelling forum, probably best

to have posted it in the INVENTOR forum. :)

If i were doing this in Autocad, I might OFFSET it, adjust the elevation and LOFT then subtract.

No doubt INVENTOR will have a custom function for philips head slot relief. :beer:

Be patient, somebody will be able to help you.

I vote for the use of the LOFT command.

JDM will probably find ten things wrong with this 3D model. LoL

Extrude with Taper.
