YssaJane Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I've selected a .ctb (that i've used in the past on AutoCad2010) in the page set up, but when I try to plot the colors are still colors instead of black and the lineweights are printed as assigned.... I'm still fairly new at autoCAD and feel completely stumped. the "plot with plot styles" is checked... What am I missing??? I'm sure it's simple. Thanks!! Quote
ReMark Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 When you assigned a layer color, back in your drawing, did you by any chance pick a "TrueColor" instead of an index color? Have you double-checked the ctb file you used for any changes? Quote
YssaJane Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 I've used the index colors, and have reviewed the ctb file mulitple times.... I've even increased the line weights to see if it was just my display.... but even set as a 2.5 mm it is the same weight as one set as 0.018 Thanks. Quote
ReMark Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Is there a checkmark in the Plot dialog window to the right where it says Plot Options > Plot with plot styles and Plot object lineweights? Quote
YssaJane Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 It's one I created, but I've also tried using some of the standard ctb's in autocad, and nothing is working... Aparently I'm beyond help... oh gosh! Quote

Lineweights assigned in the layermanager or the object level will override the CTB. If you have anything other than Shademode = 2D you will get color plots, check in the plot dialog box (if you have an arrow > in the lower right of the dialog box pick that to expand it), if using viewports go into each one and set shademode = 2d.
