IronHorse Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 When I open my company template for drawing, I get style conflict. We use a font not present in style library. How do I get Inventor to use these fonts. I tried to install these fonts in Windows 7 but no luck. Quote
IronHorse Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 What kind of font is it? .TTF? Yes two .ttf fonts. Quote
Bishop Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Odd. Once you install the fonts, Inventor should recognize them and allow you to use them. We've got a couple custom fonts that we use, too, and Inventor just finds them from Windows. Any chance that the names might be odd somehow? I've had a couple fonts where the file had a nice normal rational name - say, TYPEWRITER.TTF for instance - but on the pulldown menus it was ~~~~.~~~~T~Y~PEWRITER~~ or something really ridiculous. Needless to say, when I was looking for a font in the "T" section of the pulldown, it was nowhere to be found ... Quote
ReMark Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Where did you physically place the fonts? How did you "install" them? Quote
IronHorse Posted August 1, 2012 Author Posted August 1, 2012 Where did you physically place the fonts? How did you "install" them? I placed the fonts on the desktop, right clicked on them, and choosed "install" But maybe there are some other problem? I attache the dialog that comes up. Quote
SpotWesMom Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Did you ever find an answer to this problem? We updated our template, and we're getting the same "Style Conflict" dialog box. Quote
