Backup on not saved files?

Hello! Is there an automated backup for files that are not saved a single time? I have set automaticly backup every 5 minutes, but that seams only to work on files u have saved at least one time.

 

Did i just lost my whole work because automatic backup system is not activated on new files that are not saved yet?

To the best of my knowledge, that is not the case, but I could be wrong.

Have you confirmed the AUTOMATIC SAVE FILE LOCATION from your OPTIONS > FILES?

Sweet! It was there! As an .ac$ file.

 

I had not set this location or know it existed! I only new about the .bak files!

Presumably you have already read the two links which nestly posted in that other thread?

If not, I would strongly suggest that you, and everybody else do so, good information.
