icemate09 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I don't know if there's anyway to fix this. But I created a legend in the Block Editor which obviously requires text. I inputted the block into paper space because it's easier to input it into paper space for location purposes on the drawing. Everything was fine, but when I went to plot it (by converting it from .dwg to .pdf), the pdf showed the text plotting vertically (down to up) instead of horizontally (left to right). I've checked the properties of the text, nothing is glaringly wrong, and since it only appears after being plotted to .pdf, I'm not really sure what the problem is. Are there restrictions to adding blocks to paper space that I'm unaware of? Quote
SLW210 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Can you post the .dwg file or at least some screen shots? Quote
icemate09 Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 Here are some screenshots of the problem. Quote
SLW210 Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I would investigate your text style and see what all is checked. Quote
rkent Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Use the built in dwg to pdf.pc3. I see the same thing when text is set to Match Orientation in the style and the UCS is rotated in MS, but only with CutePDF and Bluebeam. With the built in Dwg to PDF it doesn't happen. Or uncheck Match Orientation, or rotate the UCS in each VP to World. Quote
icemate09 Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 Unchecking Match Orientation fixed the problem. Thank you! Quote
