I have a network of 3d polylines, how can I convert this to a 3d object? In 3ds max I can use a surface modifier to convert it to 3D. Is there a workflow inside of AutoCAD?

I am sure there are better ways than the LOFT command, but that would be an easy way.

It looks to have a flare to it. If it doesn't you could use the PRESSPULL command.

Open your SURFACE CREATION, SURFACE CREATION 2 and SURFACE EDITING toolbars and turn on your tooltips

and give them a try. I don't use SURFACES and MESHES in my work, but they are quite a bit more powerful than they used to be. There are

2 toolbars specifically for working with MESHES too.

Good luck, have fun. :)
