lamensterms Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 Hey guys, I've been using ProSteel for just over a year now, and have been learning LISP for around the same amount of time. I recently came accross this site... https://sites.google.com/site/mclisp/Home/Home ...which has a bunch of LISP routines which are to be used in conjunction with ProSteel (the routines contain ProSteel functions). I reckon there could be some real benefit to creating some routines to enhance ProSteel - but there is very little documentation on ProSteel + LISP. So... i was wondering if any of you guys have had any experience on writing LISP for ProSteel - and if you could off me any pointers/advice to get me started. Thanks for any help. Quote
carry Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 hello documentation Autolisp+Prosteel does not exist, or very few examples, see this pages example https://sites.google.com/site/mclisp/Home/prosteelisp macros speed up the design very Bentley would be nice if the insert Prosteel. It would also be a way to update Prosteel. ciao Quote
lamensterms Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 Thanks for the reply mate. But you just posted the link that I posted. It seems there is nothing else to read. I dont know how other ProSteel LISP programmers got their start. Cheers. Quote

lamensterms Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 eyy awesome, thanks GP. Carry - do you have a list of the ProSteel COM functions (PSCOMWRAPPER.Ks_ComCreatePlate)? How did you get started when creating these routines? I really have no idea where to begin to get LISP to talk to ProSteel. Cheers. Quote
carry Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 hello lamensterms thank GP_,I see that you are Italian like me. In Release Prosteel 17 and 18, you find in the Help folder, file ps_com_17.chm. This is the guide for use COM (Component Object Model) whit VBA, for use to Lisp only a small example. whit ActiveX Automation is a technology developed by Microsoft ®-based architecture and COM (Component Object Model). It can be used to customize AutoCAD drawings to share data with other applications and automate tasks. If you can not find the file, send me an email mclisp at gmail.com ciao Quote
