Stroke2007 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Will my old copy of AutoCAD R12 run on my 64-bit win 7 pc if I add a fdd & parallel port? I really don't think it will. Perhaps I could source an old 486 pc/laptop instead Quote
ReMark Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I've read of one person who got r14 to run on a Win7 computer and it was 64-bit! Is yours 32-bit or 64-bit? Old computers are so cheap you could probably find someone who is giving away an old 486. Quote
Murph_map Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Old computers are so cheap you could probably find someone who is giving away an old 486. Old cars are cheap too but I don't think anyone wants to give away a Model T. There is a VM called DOSBOX that may work. Let us know if it does. Quote
