ReMark Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 So some appear to be free but there are also collections of blocks that can be purchased. The "Paid Collections" seems to be a bit of an odd choice of phrase. Quote
ReMark Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Well it looks like they use the "free" blocks as bread crumbs to entice you then hope you'll change your mind and purchase the better quality/quantity collections. Kind of like "loss leaders" at the ends of supermarket aisles. Quote
Bobzy20 Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 Well hopefully somebody will be able to use the free ones. I find SketchUp is the best for blocks. Quote
ReMark Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 The choices are limited (as one would expect) and a person looking for certain blocks may have better luck by going to a manufacturer's website (ex. - Kohler or American Standard for toilets, showers, bathtubs and sinks). Quote
Squirltech Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I went here today to get a few office blocks for a quick sketch. Everything I downloaded was free and seemed alright in quality. I really don't use these types of blocks on any sort of regular basis, I just thought I'd share. http://www.cadcorner.ca/cadblocks/archblocks.php Quote
ReMark Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I know the site well as I too have found a wealth of useful features there (mostly lisp routines). Quote
