Does someone know why I get this FATAL ERROR when I open my Autocad file? It's gonna close the Autocad window!!!

We are talking one particular drawing are we not?

A quick check of the AutoDesk website drew a blank when searched on the basis of the entire error message. There were, however, quite a few hits on the words "reading 0x0010".

Maybe you have a corrupted installation?

Want to know more about unhandled access violation errors then read this. Don't fall for the part about a free scan.

The only different things I can find in this drawing file are two pictures Inserted and 3D texts!

Have you tried to run a RECOVER on this drawing?

Posted

Not really! How can I do this?

Open a new drawing. Then use the RECOVER command to bring in the drawing that is giving you problems. Follow the command line prompts.

I did! I can work with my file now. However, my pics don't appear anymore!
