I'm using MEP 2010. In Schematics workspace, afters setting the gap width in the settings, the gap between two crossing schematic lines does appear in the drawing. Once the file is closed and reopened again, none of the gaps appear. However the gaps will appear in lines newly drawn in the same drawing but not in the existing ones. Is anyone familiar with this situation and does anyone know the solution?

Go to Options > MEP Display Control tab. Do you have the "Save Hidden Lines in Drawing" checked? I think this also applies to the gap feature. Worth a shot anyways.

Also be sure that all updates/hotfixes/patches/etc are installed. I know this is a typical response but you never know. ;)
