Hi..My question is about the computation of the interpolations..I was reading the other threads and the explanations are confusing..

I believe car5858 followed the example #2.

My question is with the sample from the project booklet.

93.8-88.9=4.9

50/49=1.0204081

1.0204081 x 11= 11.22

Where did "11" come from? I just don't quite understand.

Having read and reread Car5858's explanation on how to interpolate contours I can find no fault. Wouldn't the "11" be the distance to the required spot elevation?
