Sweep for arch on walls

I need to make an arc sitting on two walls, this is normally no problem except in this case the walls are curved. How do I make the arc (roof) to follow the curve.

I tried Sweep with patch and guide rail, It works but do not follow the thickness of

wall exactly.

I solved the problem with lofting and guide rails :-)

I am reluctant to post this as I think your entire design is flawed - but maybe it will give you some ideas.

I suspect that what you really should do is get the "wall thickness" with a shell feature. In other words - do as a solid block and then shell.

But then I don't really know your design intent.

My solution is not flaw! Here is example of the final result, a part of

alumina-kiln. 550mm thick walls and arc. Assembled with bricks and mortar.
