NoelStalker Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Hello helpful people. I'm looking for a routine to reference edit every block in my drawing and change the color of everything to "bylayer". I can make a script easily enough that will chprop all color to bylayer but that won't touch things inside blocks. What do you do when you encounter this problem? Thanks in advance! Quote

Mr CADAzzB Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Use the AutoCAD command SETBYLAYER ? Signed up to CADTutor just to say thank you for that extremely valuable Tip! Have been attempting to find the exact command for years, Much appreciated rkent! Quote
Happy Hobbit Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Beware though - it's limited in the respect that it will only attsync the selected blocks, any unselected blocks of the same name as the selected ones in the drawing will remain unchanged Quote
