khoshravan Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 (edited) I am typing in Farsi which is a right-to-left language. What I see in the monitor is correct. Words appear from right-to-left. But when I print, Entire sentence appears from left-to-right. How can I solve this problem? This happens even if I print to PDF file. So it is not a problem with printer. bill_borec Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Sounds like your printer driver is translating (mis-translating) the font. Check to see that you have the latest driver for the printer. Is there a language pack for the printer? A work-around would be to print to .pdf, then plot from Adobe. Quote

My printer do this odd behavior (prints characters from left-to-right for words) only in AutoCAD 2010. Therefore I don't think the problem is with my printer. I think I am missing a setup in my ACAD. khoshravan Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 Another colleague gave a good solution as follows: Print/Properties/Graphics/ select: True Type Text[As Text] Select True Type as text below And save as new PC3 file. This solves the issue. Quote
