STAN G Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 WHEN SAVING IN ACAD Lt 2010 VIA - FILE - SAVE, THE COMMAND LINE PRODUCES 3 LINES IN QUICK SUCCESION THAT IS: -qsave nil nil WHEN I THEN GO TO FILE - CLOSE IT ASKS ME IF I WANT TO SAVE THE DRAWING FILE. IT SEEMS THE 2 LINES OF NIL, NIL NEGATE THE 1ST -qsave LINE. STAN G Quote
Dadgad Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Strange, I would expect it to take you to the Save Drawing As dialogue box, where you would confirm, or change the File Name and the Save As file Type. Then if you select Close it should do so without the confirmation screen. Quote
STAN G Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 Hi Dadgad Please review extract from text display after I try saving: Command: Command: Command: _plot Command: Command: Command: _qsave Command: nil Command: nil Command: '_textscr Resuming _.VPLAYER command. Stan G Quote
Dadgad Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Do you have AUTOPUBLISH turned on, right click in your commandline to access OPTIONS and look at your PLOT & PUBLISH tab settings. If you have it checked, uncheck it. Quote
STAN G Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 No that one is unchecked. Further up though 'enable background plot when': Publishing is checked as well as 'auto.. Save plot and publish... As well 'save one continuous plot log' Quote
MSasu Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Do you use a third-part application with your AutoCAD? Seems like the QSAVE command was redefined. Try this on your prompter: (command "_REDEFINE" "QSAVE") Regards, Mircea Quote
