tzframpton Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Oh man I would pull my services in a blink of an eye. If they have the audacity to upcharge the "now" most commonly exchanged document format then that's "their" problem. Seems like that's the root of the problem right there. You'd be doing yourself a favor to find another reprographics company. Just my $0.02 is all. Quote
halfcracked Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 yeah, I'd do that if all it came down to was this. We've tried the other 2 big Repro companies in our area & they had bigger issues than an up-charge. Seems like these guys are the only ones in town who don't screwup on a regular basis. They definitely have the better QC around. & they've been able to pull our fat out of the fire more than once on rush jobs the other guys woulda laughed out the door. And then there's the fact that the VP of the Repro co & our Principal/owner are school chums Quote
SLW210 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Do not know where you went, but IRFANVIEW is FREE. Quote
halfcracked Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Do not know where you went, but IRFANVIEW is FREE. Not really, only for personal use. from their web page: "IrfanView is provided as freeware, but only for private, non-commercial use (that means at home)." since I'm trying to find a solution for my office it is not free. SLW210 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I really don't think $12 is going to break the bank. Quote
halfcracked Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 you have no idea how cheap my boss is He turned down a request for a 2" 3 ring binder to hold a print out of the latest IBC for the office. so $144 for 12 seats is probably a stretch. Welcome to the new economy - God I love working in a rite to work state Quote
SLW210 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Beats $100 set up fees. Do you really need 12 seats? Wouldn't 1 or 2 be sufficient? Quote
tzframpton Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 This is the problem in dealing with outdated and old technology. Compound the issue with a company that doesn't want to invest in proper equipment for their employees and you have real issues. I'd be updating my resume. Quote
