How can I make and save my own Sheet Set template with all of the custom labels, tags, callout bubbles available and associated each time a creat a new Sheet Set?

I need to create a Sheet Set template so that I don’t have to associate fields such as names and drawing numbers etc. associated to the fields that i have already created in my sheet template.

Is a .dwt file different from a sheet set template?

We have a standard TB in a dwt file saved with all standard blocks, layers, dimstyles, fields and everything. everytime we start a new drawing we just start a new file with that template and same goes when we make sheet sets.

Just create the template 1st and save it in the job directory that is specific to that template. That's what we do. Then when you create the Sheet Set, add the template you created and it will pull the data from that *.DWT file from then on. :)

Thanks guys. Now I'm up and running. There will be no stopping me now. Powerful way to organise drawings.

I still don't understand any of this

See this ebook from Autodesk on sheet sets. It may seem overwhelming at first, but once you understand the concept, you'll be amazed at how much time it saves you. Yes, it takes a little work to set up, but after that you can plot an entire project from one dialog box.
