Dormant Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I was on training the other day and noticed the lecturer used some program to launch autocad programs within the autocad application. Ie if you have a Suite for example. Want to know what it was, or if anyone knows of any programs that do this, so i can clean up my desktop, thanks Quote
Dadgad Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 You can open other programs from within autocad, by setting up new shortcalls in your .pgp file. Click TOOLS > Customize > Edit Program Parameters. I believe you could do it this way, although there is no doubt another way to do it. I have notepad set to open with NN, so in the middle of a drawing it is easy for me to make a note, should I find an issue, which is saved to a folder on my desktop. Quote
Murph_map Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I like using a lisp with (startapp XXXX). Also the trainer may of been using the Alt-tab combo to cycle though apps already running. Quote
