BiggBlue62
I am trying to plot a multi-colored layout in monochrome. I have gone through the page setup manager and set my style to monochrome. My prints come out in color. I have made my own propety and listed the print to be made in black only. Is there another setting that I need to setup differently to print in Black & White? rkent
When you pick monochrome is the extension CTB or STB. If STB, check the layer manager to see what style the layers are set to, it set to Normal then it will always plot the color shown. Change the layer to a style other than normal. If CTB then open the CTB and make sure all the pens are set to use black.
BiggBlue62
Thanks rkent. Mine is STB. I have changed all my plot styles but all of the blocks in the drawing did not change over. I still have to select each block and edit it to print black. Any other thoughts?

rkent
You have to make sure that any plotstyle name being used actually exists in the STB file. You will have to use the SETBYLAYER command, pick all objects, say yes when it asks to include blocks.
BiggBlue62
Huge thanks rkent! I have not had to use the SETBYLAYER command before. That fixed my problem!
Ollie8974
In the screen shot in post #5, top left hand corner. Open the drop down window Plot Style Table. Select the monochrome. ctb. 6th one down. the printer will print in black and white.
BiggBlue62
In the screen shot in post #5, top left hand corner. Open the drop down window Plot Style Table.Select the monochrome. ctb. 6th one down. the printer will print in black and white. I have tried this and when I preview the plot it still shows it in color and not in B&W. Also monochrome.ctb is not available only monochrome.stb is there.
