MRAKA Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Does any one know how to make a hatch pattern with the words "NO GAS" on it. Im using AutoCAD 2012 Andrew UK Quote
ReMark Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Try using the SuperHatch command found in Express Tools. Should be under Draw. Or you can type SUPERHATCH at the command line. Quote
MRAKA Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Can you be a bit more specific? I am currently using a dashed hatch pattern but would like to have a pattern wich says "NO GAS". I am not interested if its dashed or not just the wording. Any help would be grealty appreciated:) Quote
CyberAngel Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Do you want to superimpose the words on top of the hatch pattern? Do you want to use the words themselves as the hatch pattern? Or is it something else? Quote
MRAKA Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Would look neat if I could have the words themselves as the hatch pattern. What im doing now is just putting a strippy pattern on an area and adding some text over it. Its looks a bit naff! Quote
ReMark Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) Jumping jack flash it's a gas. Be more specific? Sure. 1. Make a block that uses the text NO GAS. 2. Use the SUPERHATCH command to populate an area of your drawing with the block. See above. Edited January 18, 2012 by ReMark Quote
Murph_map Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Or if you want symbols instead of text. Quote

funk Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Im going to open this back up sorry, SUPERHATCH is very confusing...... I made a block with a few shapes and tried to SuperHatch it. I selected the block > Insert parameters on screen > clicked inside the frame polyline and then it just got wierd, the scale was out and didn't hatch anything... Anymore tips on this command would be great! Cheers, Funk Quote
ReMark Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Let's reverse the process. Post a copy of what you are working with so we have something to test. Then we can tell you if it works and how to fix the problem. Quote
