razie1
hiya im quite new to inventor and need a little help. im trying to build a motor bike frame and don't know which would be the best way to do it, should i do it all in 3d sketch or in parts with 2d? thanks in advance
JD Mather
I would do 2D sketches of the side and top views. Then 3D Sketch of interscetion between the 2 2D sketches. Then use Frame Generator.

JD Mather
You can only use the miter or notch tools with straight tubes. To trim a curved tube or a straight tube with a curved tube - Edit the part in the context of the assembly. Copy Object as surface the face of the tube to use for trimming. Split Part or Sculpt Remove the tube to be trimmed with the copied surface body. Attach a couple of parts and assembly here if you can't figure it out.
