Which hardware do you recomend to have to make a faster render? I made a render last night in revit 2009 it took me 9 hours and 45 minutes.

Multi-core processors, the biggest Workstation level graphics accelerator your budget will allow, and max out the RAM. All of this, of course, should be running on a motherboard that supports the highest bus speeds you can buy.

 

Basically, a whole new computer for the best results and it will definitely cost. I don't know if this is just for personal use, or for business. :)

Toshiba Satellite A300-1ID

Isn`t this Toshiba Satellite A300-1ID a good one? Nice RAM, nice graphic and processor

I can't find a good Spec sheet of the Toshiba. Can you link me somewhere so I can take a look? Even Toshiba's site seems to be down.

Once again, it is a "gaming" computer. It will still work though. all of them will but I was trying to help you with the absolute best option. :)

what's the difference between workstation and pc, what would be the best choice in workstation??

i render both at home and work, and the 2 pc's are opposite.

 

work pc

 

amd 5600+ x2

ati x1950 pro 512mb

2gb ram

 

home pc

e6750 intel

8800 GT 512mb

4gb ram

 

guess what, the work pc renders quicker! quite considerably to.
