Arnc Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Hello, maybe anyone can help me, with bending command in 3D sketch. Problem is that I need bending from exact point, but i get in that exact point, the middle of bending arck, not at the start. I make two sketches in 2D, and then in 3D make command "intersection curve", and then make these bendings. So I need that bending would start from 25mm and 140mm. Quote
Arnc Posted December 20, 2011 Author Posted December 20, 2011 I need to make bicycle handlebar drawing, tomorrow I can attach handlebar photo. If I will make bending in 2d and then make intersection curve, I think it won't be right drawing. 05900-00007.ipt Quote
Mike_Taylor Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 If that is the case I would include all the geometry you need in your first 2 initial sketches, use intersection curve and sweep/left your handlebars from there. It would be much easier constraining your sketches to adhere to the appropriate geometry than to bend the 3-d sketch. Quote
Arnc Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 But I even can't to make these bending in 2D XZ Plane. These bending arc's croses each other, and I can't make between them straight line (marked red) with tangent constrain. Quote
JD Mather Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Is something like this what you are after? 05900-00007.ipt Quote
Arnc Posted December 22, 2011 Author Posted December 22, 2011 Not exactly. I need to make that to keep mesurement (220 half width of handlebar) angle 40 end of handlebar 140 (stright line), bendings r55, start 25mm(stright line). Quote
Arnc Posted December 24, 2011 Author Posted December 24, 2011 Hello, there are handlebar photos, I should make such with inventor... And happy holidays for all Quote
