tem Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 is it possible to keep diferent styled ponts in a same drawing? when i change the point style i cant keep existing point style for particular points Quote
feargt Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 up to 2008 it is not possible to have more than 1 point style in a drawing. I have not heard anything to the contrary for 2009. But there are options depending on what your points represent, if you are importing points, or just placing them manually etc. If u post an explanation as to how u are using these points or creating them, I can maybe help u with an alternative method. tem Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 i just need to draw different style points in drawing for different type objects. is it really impossible? Quote
feargt Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 if you could explain what type of objects they are and how u are importing them or drawing them then I can probably help you. But up to 2008 (am assuming 2009 too) it is just 1 point style per drawing Quote
tem Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 if there is no other way direqtly keep diferent styles......... thank you anyway Quote
eldon Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Although you can only have one style and one size of point in a drawing, you can have different rotations, if that is any good. Quote
rustysilo Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Why not just use different layers/colors for the different ones? What sort of data do the points represent? Quote
BOB'27T Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Why not just use different layers/colors for the different ones? What sort of data do the points represent? That's exactly the way I do it. I create a style for existing points and a separate one for proposed points. I put one on existing and the other on V-Node proposed. This way there is no confusion which points are which. Quote
