[/img]hey.. i started using autocad recently , and i fave a problem textexploding... after selecting the text, and pressing txtexp, it goes away from the place it should be, and plus, it gets bigger, like twice as big then the the place where it was.... pls tell me what the problem is ...

What is the source of the text you are exploding? Maybe it was created for a drawing that was scaled.

Do a LIST on the text and see if it contains any embedded formatting; this could give rise to some strange effects when exploded.

LIST is an AutoCAD command. Type LIST and select the text. An AutoCAD Text window should appear on your screen with information about the entity you just picked.

This WAS my problem too and takes many times from me to be solved.

I had about 4500 dwg files with shx font. They should be exploded all to be just lines. Text should explode too.

One of txtexp problems is moving and scaling text and misplaces them to new position.

my friends solve it for me (Thanks him o:)). Set insunits system variable to 0. Just do (setvar " insunits" 0)
