what am I doing wrong??

First of all I'd like to say I find CADTutor a MASSIVE help when it comes to searching for answers, whenever I google an issue I am almost always directed to your site. However I posted my first 2 threads the other day and have yet to recieve a single reply! I can see a lot of people have looked at them however not one responce with advice, these were:

  • How do I change the material/image applied to an object in AutoCAD 2012?
  • Missing workspace & ribbons after installing AutoCAD 2012

So my feedback is it would be great to get some feedback myself on what I am doing wrong, I struggle to find many other questions raised that haven't recieved a sigle responce! If I am not following the rules, or if my question isn't worded correctly, or even if nobody knows! If someone was to let me know instead of wondering if I have broken some sort of code of conduct that would be a great help.

Many thanks

Don't take it personally. Since we are all volunteers sometimes that (a lull) happens. Patience.

Re: workspace and Ribbon problems. I'd recommend trying the REPAIR option found in Windows > Add/Remove Programs. If you are running Win7 look first to Programs and Features. This will give you the option to uninstall or repair a program.

As ReMark said, you are not doing anything wrong, it just happens that either there is a lull in the responses or it could be noone yet have an answer to your questions. I took a look at them and have no answers.

Have patience :)

Cheers guys I feel a lot better now, I honestly thought I was being victimised for doing something wrong! A swift responce was most apprecaited.

I shall be a man of patience from now on 8)

We are usually quick about saying when something is wrong, that you never have to wait for :danger::beer::beard:

(the bearded smiley is just because. )

Thanks for your understanding. I know for a fact that some forum members troll back through old threads specifically looking for ones that have gone without a response and have tried to make an effort to either answer them and/or to give them a *bump* so they reappear at the top of the list. Since there is no rhyme or reason as to when forum members will visit CT one cannot predict how much response or lack there-of a thread will receive.

Huh? Uh, OK. That was Sunday morning here. I was still asleep. I see 'em now.

Not knowing the answer though, I vote for trying Remark's idea first.

Your posts are not disappearing, they are simply being moved to the thread in question. I figured you'd get the hint
