Create using 3Dpoly with C (for close) as your last point. or you could use Loft with Guide curves, but I think I would simply use a closed 3dpoly and Patch. right click and select proper option that will allow you to select the 3Dpoly boundary) Quote

SEANT Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 For something like this I’d recommend using the Loft methodology – though I think 2 lines is enough (see attached). Patch is useful; though in this instance the resultant geometry is a trimmed surface. AutoCAD does not treat it as such, but the isolines suggest it – the Acis/Brep information confirms it. So, even if the surface is within tolerance, the Patch will not have traits associated with the doubly ruled hyperbolic paraboloid, nor a regular (fully contained) UV Parametrization.
