sbush Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Hi, my name is Sebastien, I live in Canada, Quebec. I'm new to this forum. I am using autocad since 2007 version and today I installed 2012 version on my new computer. I noticed a problem I never had before : When I select an object (circle, line, square,... ) I can't see the properties of the object, the information stay the same like there is no selection. Very strange !! Is someone can tell me what to do ? Is there something in the Option for that ? I hope it's not a bug in my Autocad version and the problem can be solve. Thank you in advance for your answer. Quote
lpseifert Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Try setting Pickfirst=1 and see if that helps. (Options > Selection > Noun/Verb...) Quote
sbush Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 No it doesn't help, Pickfirst is already set to 1 Quote
JD Mather Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Ctrl Shift P or Properties Attach file here that exhibits this behavior. Quote
sbush Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Like you'll see in the picture, the circle is selected but nothing happen in the properties tool and quick properties Quote
JD Mather Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 You forgot to attach the dwg file here. Are you using AutoCAD Mechanical? What does List return? Quote
sbush Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 I re-installed the software and it's working fine now. Thank you for your help Quote
