I am using autocad 2008 and I used the function that allows you to hide objects such as hatching or lines under text. When I delete the text, I expected the invisible box to delete with it. Sadly this is not the case. I am not able to click or highlight the invisible box. Does anyone know how to remove said boxes?

You wouldn't be talking about a wipeout would you? Or better yet a background mask?

I'm not exactly sure. We used it for our contour lables on our one map. I believe the option was "hide drawing under text"

No. That is something we tried. Let me try to better explain. Once we deleted the text, there was a void in the line where the text used to be. If you mouse over the line it shows that it is infact still connected. (just like it would if it were behind something) So we tried the draworder but the void remains. We basicaly need a way to acces the void as if it were an object so that we could simply delete them.

I'm sorry to further waiste your time ReMark. It seems that WIPEOUT worked as that prompted to turn the frames on or off. We simply turned them on and then were able to click and delete. Thank you for your quick and helpful reply.

I just provided the catalyst for you to arrive at the solution. No problem. You're entirely welcomed.
